GULF ISLANDS CAMPING EXPEDITION

DSC01333 (1).JPG

Explore the BC Coast by Stand Up Paddle Board

This short SUP trip is the perfect way to spend a weekend camping on the Gulf Islands. Relax for three days and two nights on Portland Island (inside Gulf Islands National Park Reserve), soaking in fresh air, sunshine and salt water. This beautiful area, located just off the coast of Swartz Bay, will provide us with plenty of opportunities to see wildlife, practice paddling techniques and frolic in the water.

This trip is perfect for paddle boarders who want to explore the coast while spending a few nights camping under the stars! It's also great if you want to try expedition paddling, but don't know where to start.

During this multi-day trip, you will learn the techniques and skills required to safely embark on paddling expeditions on your own.

Skills such as:

  • How to route plan

  • How to navigate coastal waters

  • How to identify hazards on the water

  • How to identify good camping spots, select a tent pad location and pitch a tent

  • How to pack a dry bag

  • How to Leave No Trace

  • and much more

" Just back from a 3-day SUP adventure in the Gulf Islands with Pam and team and it was amazing. Pam was the perfect guide and teacher. I learned a ton, improved my skills and had a great time doing it. If you would like to learn more/do more on a SUP I highly recommend Blue Jellyfish SUP Adventures."
